SE2 Selected for State’s Anti-Tobacco Communications Campaigns

By August 31, 2015April 23rd, 2024No Comments
Following a highly competitive bid process, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment’s (CDPHE) Prevention Services Division selected SE2 to lead communications and advertising for its Tobacco Free Colorado program and renewed SE2’s State Tobacco Education and Prevention Partnership (STEPP) program contract.
Sara O’Keefe, ‎manager of communications for Prevention Services at CDPHE, said of our work, “CDPHE has been impressed with SE2’s track record of providing key insights and delivering solutions that effectively engage at-risk populations around tobacco prevention and cessation. We’re excited to continue and expand our existing relationship to cover additional elements of our anti-tobacco program.”
In our role on the Tobacco Free Colorado project, SE2 – with support from partner agencies Launch Advertising, 303 Software and InLine Media – will rebrand the program, develop and optimize an online portal, and launch a mass media awareness campaign early in 2016 to advance statewide tobacco prevention and cessation efforts.
CDPHE also extended SE2’s existing STEPP program contract to include supporting dozens of grantees across the state of Colorado. SE2 will also continue to develop marketing and communications toolkits and will provide communications technical assistance to support grantee efforts in local communities.
SE2 is proud it was selected to provide strategic communications support to CDPHE’s STEPP program. Together CDPHE and SE2 are moving the meter on issues that matter.
