Elizabet Garcia Hernandez builds bridges between institutions and communities — especially those too often overlooked. Raised in a bilingual household in a diverse Colorado community, she developed an early understanding of how language, culture, and access shape opportunity. Today, she channels that lived experience into strategic communications that center equity and amplify diverse voices.

At SE2, Elizabet leads public relations and community outreach efforts that help complex initiatives connect authentically across Colorado. She brings deep relationships with community leaders, grassroots organizations, and Spanish-language media, ensuring campaigns are not simply translated but truly transcreated. Her work spans public health, behavioral health, and civic engagement initiatives, where she helps move strategy into trusted, on-the-ground action.

Before joining SE2 full time, Elizabet served as Latino Outreach Coordinator for the Colorado Democratic Party during the 2020 Biden-Harris campaign, mobilizing communities statewide. She later worked as a Field Communications Specialist for AFSCME, leading press outreach and comprehensive communications strategies for major union campaigns. She also founded Verbo LLC, a communications and public policy consulting firm focused on Spanish-language messaging, media relations, and government affairs.

Elizabet holds degrees in International Studies and Spanish from the University of Denver and studied Business Spanish at La Universidad Nebrija. She brings both policy fluency and cultural intelligence to her work, combining strategic discipline with heart. Grounded in SE2’s belief that change grows from the ground up, she helps organizations show up with clarity, respect, and purpose.
